OUR STORY
Since 2023, Futbolitos has been pioneering a unique approach to early childhood football in Málaga, Spain—one built on play, development, and joy rather than competition.
At the heart of Futbolitos is Coach Raúl, who has been coaching children aged 2 to 16 for 25 years across Spain and the United States. For over a decade, he directed a large-scale youth football program in San Francisco, California, working across childcare centers, preschools, after-school programs, and public parks.
This experience shaped the Futbolitos methodology: a program specifically designed for early childhood, where play, confidence, emotional development, and enjoyment come before competition.
Now back in Spain, Coach Raúl works with the youngest children, whose curiosity, energy, and spontaneity are at the core of what makes Futbolitos unique. Since our founding in 2023, we’ve grown organically in Málaga, continuously refining our approach through direct work with families and young children.
Today, Futbolitos is more than a local program—it’s a proven methodology ready to bring the joy of football to young children in communities across Spain.
WHAT WE DO
At Futbolitos, we create dynamic, engaging lessons in a positive and nurturing environment. Our curriculum is non-competitive and tailored to each age group’s developmental needs, using football to teach fundamental skills through play.
Each weekly lesson includes stretching, warm-ups, creative skill-building activities, games, and scrimmages—all designed to keep children engaged, moving, and learning naturally.
OUR METHODOLOGY
Futbolitos uses football as a tool to build self-confidence, teamwork, and physical development in young children. Our methodology, developed over 25 years of coaching experience, focuses on age-appropriate activities that keep children curious and engaged.
Through creative, play-based learning, children develop ball control, coordination, and spatial awareness—often without even realizing they’re being coached. Every child feels secure in their abilities and improves at their own pace.
